TRIBULATION II:
A Testing in the World
In Defense of the Truth Then and There
Proving Oneself Worthy
Against the Beast-led Conspiracy
–In the Final Conflict
Even though there are dual tracks to the Kingdom, both consist of the element of testing. There is no Church member who will escape scot-free from the Potter’s fire, no matter how many Sabbaths he or she can go on keeping. In the end, all will have been individually tested and only those who have made the grade will be accepted into God’s elite forces. For, there is no easy walk to His Freedom!
One period of testing will occur in advance of the second. During that time there will be an opportunity for each person in God’s Church to choose either to follow God or to follow man. The difficulty in this test results from the Satanic deception which has the man being in God’s own ministry. Spotting the power- mad minister was elementary in getting through this trial. But the uncommon key to passing was the advanced level of understanding that real truth carries an unreasonable, exorbitant price tag.
Christianity is not a “spectator sport.” For those in the bleachers viewing the contest between Truth and Lie-dressed-as-truth, there will be no sneaking around the test. For doing nothing you get nothing. It is failing by omission. For those passengers who are sitting in the waiting lounge and are figuring on taking the right flight at the last moment, there will be no free ride available to the Kingdom. Passing the time, instead of passing this test now, means only that another one will be scheduled later. It will be the last, great test. And there won’t be any future safety for those who have had their way and just sat in safety all these years.
How does God check a Christian for the strength of his commitment? Does He take your word for it? Will He just watch you as you go about enjoying His blessings? Should He even bother to confirm your faith, hope and love? You will not like it but God has His own method of checking who you are. He uses adversity to see whether you will obey even when it hurts. All you wonderful people who are trying to foil God’s plan by avoiding His test are in for the shock of your lives. A pain-free Christianity is no Christianity at all. Have a good laugh while you’re talking your life away. Laughing is only a sign of your great arrogance!
